We want the prom to be a special, memorable event for everyone!  Like most things that involve a lot of participants, we need to have a few guidelines to make sure that the prom is a safe, fun night for everyone!

Who may attend?

The prom is open to all area homeschooled high-school students and their guests, ages 14-20.

If something comes up and I cannot attend, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately we are not able to issue any refunds, but you may transfer your ticket to someone else. Please email us to let us know that you cannot attend and to whom you transferred your ticket. If you do not know anyone in need of a ticket, let us know and we will try to help you find someone.

What is the dress code?

Gentlemen may wear themed attire, formal wear, or semi-formal attire (tuxedo, suit, or dress pants with dress shirt and tie).

Ladies may wear themed attire, formal wear, or semi-formal attire. Skin-tight, see-through dresses, deeply-cut neck lines, and/or dresses with excessive cleavage are not permitted. Backless dresses are permitted, provided backless portion does not dip below the natural waistline. Two-piece dresses are permissible, as long as the skirt portion does not sit below the natural waistline (belly buttons must not be visible), and there must not be more than a 2" gap between top and bottom pieces. Hem and slit length are to be to mid-thigh length or longer (approximately fingertip length). The above requirements must be met while standing, sitting, and/or dancing.

If there are *ANY* questions as to the appropriateness of your prom attire, you may send a full-length photo of yourself in the attire for approval to thegheprom@gmail.com.

What is the code of conduct?

*Foul or inappropriate language is not permitted.
*Modest dancing (subject to chaperones' discretion)
*Minimal public displays of affection (subject to chaperones' discretion)
*Alcohol, drugs, tobacco, or weapons of any kind are not permitted.  Possession of any of the aforementioned items will result in the immediate removal from the premises.

on your registration form and upon check-in.
*Leaving and re-entering prom is prohibited, unless approved by chaperone.
*Large bags and/or large purses may not be brought into the venue.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or to remove, without refund, anyone for not complying with these rules.

Are parents permitted to stay?

Unfortunately, due to space limitations, we ask that parents do not enter the venue.

Will there be food and beverages?

Yes, we will have a variety of light savory and sweet foods, as well as lemonade and water.

Will there be a photographer?
